Vahli Dikri Yojana means Dear Daughter Scheme, has been launched by the Gujarat Government for the girl children of the state. You can easily apply for the Vahli Dikri Yojana and take the benefit of the scheme. Under વહાલી દીકરી scheme Gujarat Government sanction a subsidy of  INR 1,10,000 for the birth of first girl child.

This is one of the best initiatives taken by the Gujarat Government to girl empower, improve the ratio of girls in the state and promote girl education. Under the વહાલી દીકરી scheme the financial assistance will be given in three stages. If any family will be eligible for the scheme then the fund will transfer to the bank account.

Amount Distribution

Vahli Dikri Yojana

The financial assistance will be given by the government in three stages that are as follow-

  • The first amount of INR 4,000 will be given by the government at the time of the 1st class.
  • The second amount of INR 6,000 will be given at the time of 9th class.
  • The Last and 3rd amount of INR 1,00,000 will be given at the time of she attains the age of 18 years.

What Are The Eligibility Criteria For Vahli Dikri Yojana?

If you are going to apply for the વહાલી દીકરી scheme then check all the eligibility criteria of the scheme.

  • Applicant Must Be The Resident Of The Gujarat State.
  • The Annual Income Of The Applicant Should Not More Than INR 2 Lakh.
  • Vahli Dikri Yojna is for the first two girl child of the family.
  • At the time of girl childbirth, the age of the mother should be 18year or more.
  • A family must belong to the EWS.
  •  Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.

How To Apply For Vahli Dikri Yojana?

If you want to apply for Vahli Dikri Yojna then you can easily take the form from your nearest Anganwadi. You must have to apply for the scheme after the birth of the girl child and 1 year after birth. The application will be filled and submitted to Janeva Kendra or you can submit it through the Seva Setu. After the submission of the form, you will notice after the 40-45 days of applying for the scheme.
