This scheme was launched under the Andhra Pradesh state housing corporation on 12th July 2019. The aim of the scheme is to provide houses to the poor people of the state who are not able to afford a house. In the election campaign, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government has promised to provide houses to the poor and needy people.
The name of the scheme is taken on the behalf of his father name “YS Rajshekhara Reddy”. Actually, the name of the scheme is changed from the NTR housing scheme.
Under the scheme, Andhra Pradesh Government is regulating the YSR Economic Weaker Sections Housing Scheme, PMAY- YSR (Gramin) scheme, and PMAY- YSR (Urban) scheme.
Under this scheme, the government is allocating the pucca house to the Economic weaker section category Citizen of the state. To fulfill the aim of the scheme Andhra Pradesh has allocated Rs.1280 crore under the state budget.

YSR With PMAY- Urban Housing Scheme
Under the joint initiative of PMAY and YSR urban housing, the Andhra Pradesh state government and central government have taken an initiative to provide pucca houses to the poor, middle-income section, and lower-income groups of people of the state. Central and state aim to provide the pucca house before 2022 year.
YSR With PMAY- Gramin Housing Scheme
Under this state and central aims to develop rural areas of the state and provide pucca houses to needy and poor people if the state.
What Are The Eligibility Criteria To Apply For The Scheme?

- Permanent resident of the Andhra Pradesh State.
- Not own their own pucca house.
- BPL ration card holder
